Terms & Conditions — Jordan Explore LLC
Effective date: September 16, 2025
1) Agreement to Terms
By requesting a quote, making a payment, or traveling on an itinerary arranged by Jordan Explore LLC (“Jordan Explore,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you accept these Terms & Conditions for yourself and all travelers on the booking.
Plain-English: We may act as (a) agent for third-party suppliers through OutsideAgents or (b) tour operator for our own Jordan Explore tours. Rules differ by role.
2) Who We Are & Roles (OA vs. Our Tours)
- Independent Agent of OutsideAgents (“OA”): For third-party travel (air, hotel, cruise, packages, insurance, excursions), we act as an independent travel agent under OA’s host agency. Payments for those services are processed through OA systems and/or the supplier.
- Jordan Explore Tours (our own services): For itineraries we directly operate (e.g., transport-only packages and private Jordan day tours), we act as the tour operator and may accept payment directly.
3) Quotes, Pricing & Availability
- Quotes are estimates based on availability when provided and can change until payment is posted and the supplier confirms.
- Prices may change due to currency fluctuations, taxes/fees/surcharges, schedule changes, or supplier updates.
- We correct material errors when discovered; obvious mistakes are not binding.
4) Deposits, Payments & Chargebacks
- Third-party travel: Payments go directly to the supplier and/or via OA systems. We do not accept direct client payments for third-party travel. You will receive a detailed invoice and vendor confirmation within 7 days of payment.
- Our tours: We may accept payment via a PCI-compliant processor. A non-refundable deposit may be required; final balance due by the deadline on your invoice.
- Authorization & ID: Signed credit card authorization forms and supporting ID may be required by OA/suppliers.
- Chargebacks: A chargeback request does not equal cancellation or a refund. Supplier terms control. Please contact us first to try to resolve any issue.
5) Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
A) Third-Party Supplier Bookings (Agent Role)
- Each supplier’s own terms govern cancellations, changes, and refunds (including “non-refundable” or change-fee fares). Any service fees are not refundable.
- No-shows or late arrivals are typically non-refundable. Name changes may be prohibited.
- Where a refund is due from a supplier, funds are released according to that supplier’s process/timeline.
B) Jordan Explore Tours (Operator Role)
Unless your confirmation states otherwise, the following schedule applies to our Jordan Explore tours:
When you cancel | Refund (of tour price) |
---|---|
≥ 60 days before start | 100% minus non-refundable deposit and any unrecoverable vendor costs |
31–59 days | 50% refund |
≤ 30 days | Non-refundable |
- Changes/Rebooking: We will assist where possible; supplier/operator fees may apply.
- Force majeure: See §11; remedies may be credits or rebooking instead of cash refunds.
6) Travel Documents & Entry Requirements
- You are responsible for passports (often valid 6+ months beyond travel), visas, immunizations, and other entry/exit requirements.
- Denied boarding/entry due to documentation or health rules is at the traveler’s risk and expense.
7) Travel Insurance & Assumed Risks
- We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance (trip cancellation/interruption, medical, evacuation, baggage). CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) may be available from some carriers.
- Travel carries inherent risks (illness/injury, weather, political events, supplier insolvency, delays). You assume these risks by traveling.
- We are not an insurance producer and do not provide legal/medical advice. Review policy documents carefully.
8) Accessibility & Special Requests
We will pass along reasonable requests (e.g., ADA needs, dietary, religious accommodations). Fulfillment depends on supplier capabilities and is not guaranteed.
9) Supplier Terms & Responsibility
Airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, ground handlers, and insurance companies are independent entities—not our agents or employees. We are not responsible for their acts/omissions, schedule changes, or service quality. Your contract for third-party services is with the supplier, whose terms control.
10) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Plain-English: We limit our responsibility as much as the law allows. We don’t promise things we can’t control (like an airline’s performance), and if something goes wrong, our financial responsibility is capped.
- No warranties for third-party services: We make no warranty about the services of independent suppliers (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, ground handlers, insurance providers).
- Interruptions beyond our control: We are not liable for delays, schedule changes, closures, weather, natural events, strikes, governmental actions, political unrest, epidemics, or other events outside our reasonable control.
- Liability cap (as far as the law allows): For claims arising from our own services, our maximum liability is the lesser of (i) fees paid to us for the service giving rise to the claim or (ii) USD $1,000 per booking, excluding amounts paid to third-party suppliers.
- No incidental or consequential damages: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses (e.g., lost vacation time, emotional distress, lost profits).
What “to the fullest extent permitted by law” means: We only limit liability as much as your state’s law allows. If a law says a specific limit isn’t allowed, that part won’t apply to you, but the rest still does.
11) Force Majeure
We and our suppliers may cancel, modify, or delay services for events beyond reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, war, civil unrest, epidemics, government actions). Remedies may include rebooking or credits; cash refunds are subject to supplier/operator terms.
12) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
- Exclusive venue and jurisdiction: state or federal courts located in or serving Fairfield County, Connecticut.
- Before filing a claim, email support@jordanexplore.com and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve.
13) Privacy
Your use of our services is governed by our Privacy Policy. OA-hosted booking flows are additionally governed by OutsideAgents’ privacy policy available within those booking tools.
14) Photos, Video & Testimonials
With your consent, we may use voluntarily provided photos, videos, or testimonials for marketing. You can withdraw consent by emailing us; prior uses may persist in already-published materials.
15) Age, Authority & Minors
You represent that you are 18+ and have authority to accept these Terms for all travelers on the booking, including minors for whom you are the parent/guardian or have lawful permission.
16) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The posted effective date indicates the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
